Based in Sutton Bridge Crop Storage Research, we are currently recruiting for a part time Quality Systems Coordinator, working 21 hours per week, on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. The role has responsibility for managing the Quality Assurance process for all our research projects which includes monitoring, checking, co-ordination and reporting of data and information to ensure it meets the established ISO standard. This position would suit a confident and methodical administrator with a high attention to detail and proven experience in quality systems.
Monitors and coordinates processes of projects and quality management systems.
Ensures tasks are carried out to meet requirements of ISO9001 and ORETO to ensure certification is maintained.
Ensures staff members are kept aware of milestones and other deadlines for the conduct of studies.
Undertakes preparation for quality audits and ensures corrective actions are completed promptly in order to meet ISO9001 requirements.
Maintains controlled archives to ensure that information is properly recorded, securely stored and promptly available.
Provides administrative support and a secreteriat service across the sector
Analyses, reviews and implements changes using professional knowledge gained through relevant experience of processes, to improve efficiency.
Liaises with a wide range of contacts, both internal and external and at senior level to facilitate meetings.
Co-ordinates administration requirements for knowledge transfer and training events.
Ideally have previous experience working in quality assurance with professional qualifications in ISO9001 or other quality systems management, auditing or administration.
Hold GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent, in at least five subjects including Maths and English, or have appropriate work experience to a similar or higher level.
Must have broad knowledge and working experience of organisational management systems.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Self-starter with good planning skills and attention to detail
Able to commit to a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
