We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 3 Support Worker (Mental Health) to work with older people in the Wisbech Nighbourhood Team
You will be working as a part of a supportive multidisciplinary team that provides services to people who experience significant mental health challenges.
As a Support Worker in the team you will provide a range of practical support to people using the service within a community setting. You will work closely with the Occupational Therapists to deliver a Mental Health Reablement Service – adopting an enabling approach to help people achieve their recovery goals, promote independence and help people to develop or maintain their skills in daily living. The interventions offered will be time limited and focused on the service user need.
The ideal candidate will have a strong team work ethic, ability to work independently in different community settings, have a sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under pressure at times.

We are keen to develop our staff and encourage learning opportunities within the Trust. You will receive clinical supervision and be part of a Trust wide training forum for all mental health Reablement staff, as well as many other learning opportunities within the team and the wider Trust.
