Freebridge Community Housing was set up in 2006 and now manages around 7,000 homes and 17 sheltered schemes in West Norfolk. We employ over 200 people and as part of the e2 consortium, we aim to build strong and sustainable communities by providing high quality affordable homes within well designed neighbourhoods.
The main purpose of this role is to provide a high quality support service to managers and team members by preparing, developing and analysing management accounting information. You will assist in the following duties:
Support preparation of the monthly Management Accounts, annual Statutory Accounts and control accounts.
Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts and maintain other banking arrangements, for example credit card statement reconciliations and sundry payments.
Perform annual rent and service charge calculations, along with all reconciliations
You will understand current rent and service charge legislation and maintain an excellent standard of knowledge to empower colleagues by sharing learning, knowledge and skills.
Educated to Qualified Accounting Technician status is desirable but a Study package and opportunities to develop are available for the right candidate. There will be occasional evening/weekends working around year end deadlines.
You will ideally have previous experience of working in a finance department and an understanding of management accounting and a good working knowledge of computerised accounting package and Microsoft Office products.
