Norfolk County Council has a shared vision:

To achieve this, Adult Social Services and Children’s Services are working together to develop and enhance the current transition support into a Preparing for Adult Life Service (PfAL), that will provide a seamless and consistent preparation for adult life experience for young people and their families.
You must have the ability to work with young people from ages 14 to 25 years, as well as their families, and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the legislative requirements from the Children and Families Act 2014, in terms of meeting the 4 Prepared for Adulthood obligations, as well as understanding how to support a team to meet Care Act 2014 responsibilities.
You must be committed to working in a person-centred way and have the skills to work as part of a team working across both Children’s and Adult Services to ensure provision of a co-ordinated and consistent Preparing for Adult Life Service. This post will be based in King’s Lynn, covering the West Adult Social Service locality, but will be linked with the other teams supporting the young person.
