Cancer Patient Pathway Co-ordinator, Lower GI
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Patient Pathway Co-ordinator within Cancer Services for 37.5 hours per week, fixed term until 31st March, 2021.
Working with our existing Cancer Services and Lower GI teams, you will provide full support in all aspects of this role and provide Patient Pathway Coordinator cover across all tumour groups.
Within your role you will be responsible for tracking patients on cancer pathways, ensuring patients progress in a timely manner along the pathway and maintain accurate records of all aspects of the pathway on the Trust’s Somerset Cancer Registry.
You will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialists and the Multi-Disciplinary Teams within Lower GI as well as the rest of the Cancer Services Team.
Enthusiasm, commitment and flexibility are required for this role along with excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with excellent attention to detail is absolutely essential and flexibility around working hours is paramount.
